Since you can't log anything on the PCATD except 10 hours toward the initial rating, a PCATD setup for one person seems wasteful. Don't do this stuff to get by the rating with mimimum hours. So it takes you longer. Big deal. Its quality time, and worth it. So the FAA does not approve of your simulator. Who cares.
